Create a unified DVD set to be within The Criterion Collection.

This project’s objective was to create DVDs that would represent four different designers in a film series. The challenge was to complete this objective by unifying the series while still giving each DVD cover individualism.

The goal is met through the connection between these designers’ legacies and

representing those men with their Roman bust. The color choices subconsciously remind the viewer of American currency to reinforce this idea of legacy. Additionally, the objective

required that the covers adhere to all The Criterion Collection DVDs’ standards. The DVD

itself showcases the bust of each designer that is featured on the front cover. The inserts

explain the series and also bring awareness to the other films in the series.

The completed covers were photographed on pedestals, further emphasizing the

Roman bust aspect of this project.
